Overview and Mission
The Certificate of Student Professional Development (CSPD) empowers AV¶¶Òõ students to develop the professional skills and personal attributes most valued by prospective employers through career preparation programs, experiential learning, and collaborations with AV¶¶Òõ partners. The Certificate of Distinction (non-credit) is achieved through participating in workshops, networking events, an internship, plus on-campus involvement. Students who complete the program receive a cord for graduation, a Certificate of Distinction signed by the Provost, and recognition from the Babb Center for Career Services. Most importantly, students who achieve this Certificate can show a potential employer that they are workforce ready with highly sought-after skills and competencies.
