Lions ID Card

The Registrar's Office produces the Lions ID card, the official identification card for the AV¶¶Òõ. This card is used for identification as a university campus member, enrollment verification, meal plan access, printing, Lions Cash, Dining Dollars, event management, and much more.

The Lions ID card is your official AV¶¶Òõ ID and provides you with all of the rights and privileges that come with your status as a student at AV¶¶Òõ. This card provides you with:

  • Access to Athletic and Campus Entertainment Events
  • Facilities Access - Use this card to gain access to select campus facilities. 
  • Computer Labs/Printing - Use this card to gain access to AV¶¶Òõ's 24/7 computer labs and on-campus printing. Students receive a $10 credit per semester on their card for use at printing labs. 
  • Student Health Center - Eligible students receive access to the AV¶¶Òõ Powell Student Health Clinic. 
  • University Library Services - Use this card to check out materials from and gain after-hours access to AV¶¶Òõ's Boreham Library. 
  • Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC) - Use this card to gain access to AV¶¶Òõ's Recreation and Wellness Center.
  • Student Counseling Center - Eligible students with this ID can receive up to eight sessions per year at no additional charge. 

The Lions ID card may, at the cardholder's option, be used to pay for various goods and services on campus and at participating off-campus vendors through Lions Cash.

The photo for your Lions ID card is taken and the card is printed at the Registrar’s Office, located on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.
 
Except for designated holidays, the Registrar’s Office hours are as follows:
 
  • Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A driver's license, military ID, passport, or another government-issued ID card must be presented at the Registrar’s Office when the card is made.

There is no cost for the first Lions ID card. A $20 fee is charged for any replacement card thereafter. The card is valid for the entire period that the student attends the university. 

Immediately report your card lost or stolen so that the card can be deactivated. Report your card lost or stolen by logging in to your Lions ID Account.
  1. Click on Account
  2. Click on Deactivate Card
  3. Click on the Deactivate Card button
  4. Pay the $20 replacement fee at the Cashier’s Office.
  5. Bring the receipt to the Registrar’s Office to have the replacement card printed

Replacement cards are available at the Registrar’s Office on the second floor of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. A $20 replacement fee, payable at the Cashier's Office, is required for each replacement card. Once paid, the receipt should be brought to the Registrar’s Office to have the replacement card printed.
