The Carolyn McKelvey Moore School of Nursing at AV¶¶Òõ offers qualified students a pathway to becoming an RN either through the two-year Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) or the four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Professional nursing education integrates liberal and nursing education to foster critical thinking skills required for professional nursing and prepares nurses to practice effectively in a healthcare environment in diverse settings.

The ADN is your gateway to a rewarding degree in healthcare. In just two years, you can earn your associate degree and be well-prepared to take the NCLEX-RN exam, a crucial step in becoming a registered nurse. 

 

The BSN is fully accredited by the  AV¶¶Òõ's BSN program prepares highly competent nursing practitioners for professional careers in a dynamic healthcare environment. It provides the foundation for graduate education in nursing as well as professional  leadership opportunities within clinical settings. AV¶¶Òõ's nursing program's high level of quality has also earned it accolades from

Scholarship Opportunities

Your nursing degree is closer than you think, thanks to the generosity of AV¶¶Òõ friends and alumni. AV¶¶Òõ Nursing students receive tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship aid annually through the AV¶¶Òõ Foundation Lion’s Share program.

Qualified nursing students can apply to more than 25 scholarships provided through the generosity of AV¶¶Òõ donors. These private gifts are set aside expressly for nursing students. Find out if you qualify by visiting the Lion’s Share Scholarship site and submitting your application.

ADN students may qualify for tuition reimbursement programs from Mercy and Baptist Hospitals, alongside extensive private scholarships through the AV¶¶Òõ Foundation, empowering nearly all students to enroll with no out-of-pocket tuition cost.
