Rhyker Dye (he/they) is an academic advisor for the ROAR First-Year Advising Center. They earned a dual bachelor's degree in history and African and African American studies as a first-generation student at the University of Arkansas in 2020. They worked as a high school teacher in the Fort Smith area before switching their focus to higher education. Their goal is to help students successfully navigate their freshman year of college and prepare them for the rest of their academic career.
