- The Babb Center for Career Services provides career education programs to students
and alumni to develop workforce ready graduates with professional skills. We connect
students with employers to gain valuable experience in their field of study.
Mission
- Career and Professional Development - Assist students to identify their career path,
develop career action plans, and build a career toolbox.
- Employer Relations - Build strong employer relationships to maximize students' job
search and experiential learning opportunities.
- Provide an opportunity for students to increase their marketability to employers through
a Certificate of Distinction in Student Professional Development (CSPD).

Jeff Adams
Assistant Director of Career Services
A native of New Zealand, Adams joined the Career Services team in the fall of 2015
as assistant director bringing more than 20 years of higher education experience to
benefit students. Adams combines his previous higher education experiences and a global
view from working in several countries to help students discover their strengths,
values and achieve their career and leadership goals. He enjoys presenting many of
the key workshops in resume development, interview preparation, and job search strategies
to students building their career toolbox, as well as working one-on-one to tailor
solutions specific to student needs as they search for a new job or internship opportunity.
Susan Krafft
Executive Director of Career Services
Susan brings a robust set of academic, non-profit management, fundraising, and corporate
experience to AV¶¶Òõ. Before joining AV¶¶Òõ she played a pivotal role in the educational
and outreach initiatives of the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce as its Director of
Leadership and Education programs. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology
from Hendrix College and her graduate degree in industrial/organizational psychology
from the University of Tulsa.
