| Student Teacher Internship (out-of-area) | This fee is charged per internship course and supports the resources, supervision, and administrative costs associated with student teaching internships, specifically for when a placement for internship is outside of our normal placement area that is a 60-mile radius of Fort Smith. Driving times must be no more than one hour in Arkansas or Oklahoma. Candidates must get approval for placement and will be charged a minimum or $450 to cover the additional cost of travel and supervision.
